Red Nose is a leading authority in Australia when it comes to safe sleep practices, providing safer pregnancy advice, and offering bereavement support for those impacted by miscarriage, stillbirth, or the loss of a baby or child. They also serve as our community partner, delivering evidence-based advice to Australian infant and child manufacturers through their National Scientific Advisory Group to help reduce the risk of SIDS and sleeping accidents. This special day aims to engage children under 5 in activities that celebrate the spirit of giving, while aligning with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). The EYLF emphasizes play-based learning and the development of essential social, emotional, and cognitive skills. In the following section, we present Red Nose Day activities, each linked to specific EYLF principles and practices, ensuring a day filled with profound and meaningful learning experiences. These ideas are designed to guide parents and Early Childhood Educators and are certain to make Red Nose Day a memorable occasion for children under 5 years old.
